Frequently asked questions.

What is a brow lamination?

A brow lamination uses a chemical process to realign and lift the brow hairs creating a fuller, fluffier, and more defined look that lasts between 4-6 weeks. There is no downtime and it is a pain free service.

How do I prepare for a brow lamination?

1) You must avoid all harsh chemical treatments and exfoliating products, such as retinoids, AHA’s, BHA’s and chemical peels for at least 3 days prior to your appointment. If you have sensitive skin, I’d recommend closer to 7 days. Failure to do this could result in skin sensitivity and irritation, chemical burns and uneven results.

2) Avoid all hair removal. Do not tweeze, wax or trim your brows for at least 2 weeks to allow for the best results.

3) Avoid sun exposure and tanning beds at least 24 hours before and after appointment as this can cause sensitivity and irritation. If sunburned, skin must be entirely healed before lamination.

What is the aftercare for a brow lamination?

  • Keep brows dry for at least 24 hours

  • Avoid hot baths, showers, hot tubs and saunas for at least 24 hours

  • Do not rub, touch, or excessively brush the brows for 24 hours to allow the hairs to set into their new shape

  • Brush brows into place daily, especially after getting them wet

  • Avoid oil based cleansers on your brows for longer retention
